Rochdale is not a large campus city. Student moves here are usually a college room, a shared house, or the trip home at the end of a tenancy. Student removals cover that when you need a van. There is no discount attached to the word student.
Before you book
Write down what is actually yours. Beds and desks supplied by a hall stay there. In a shared house, label your boxes so a housemate’s furniture is not loaded by mistake. Measure anything wide, and note the floor. If the building wants a lift slot or bans vans from the front door, get that rule before you ask for a date.
The same weekends that suit tenancy ends are busy for family moves. Book when the date is real. If the list grows on the morning, the quote may not still fit.
On the day
Keep documents, medication and a bag for the first night with you. Boxes of books should be liftable. We do not take food that will leak, or anything hazardous. If you are leaving a rented room, photograph it empty if your agreement expects that. That check is yours.
If the job is really a whole family home that a student happens to live in, quote it as house removals. For area notes, the page on places students look at is the one that covers neighbourhoods. Get a free quote with the list and the floor.
