Directions from Spotland to our Rochdale base
Spotland is the north-west shoulder of Rochdale, and 4 Swain Street sits in it. Terraces and older semis run off Spotland Road and Ings Lane, with Falinge Park on the ridge towards Shawclough. Many houses have a front door straight onto the pavement. The journey from the office is short. Finding a gap long enough for the van is the job.
Rear alleys help when the front is a solid line of cars. Tell us if the sofa has to come out the back, and if the alley is too tight for anything bigger than a carry. School closing time on Falinge Road spills cars into these streets. A first-floor flat in a split house needs the stair width, not just the postcode.
See house removals for a full home and packing if you want the boxes done before the day. Nearby: Shawclough and Syke. Rochdale removals is this Swain Street team.
Insurance is provided. We will not block the library entrance on Ings Lane to save a walk.

Moving in Spotland: common questions
How far is Spotland from your address?
4 Swain Street is in this part of Rochdale. Some streets are a few turns away. The slow part is parking at the door, not the drive across town.
Where is Spotland Library?
Spotland Library is on Ings Lane, OL12 7AL. The council lists it as the local branch, with no Sunday opening.
Are the streets terraces?
A lot of Spotland is terrace housing and older semis, often with no drive. Tell us if you have a rear alley or only a front door onto a parked row.
