Directions from Healey to our Rochdale base
Healey climbs north out of Rochdale towards the Dell and the moor. Stone houses, cottages and later semis sit on lanes that narrow as they rise. Some have a drive cut into the slope. Many do not, and the kerb is already full. Swain Street is down the hill, so the van is climbing to you rather than crossing the town.
Dell Road and the lanes off it are the ones to describe properly. A gate at the top of steps, a piano in a front room, or a track that a car can manage and a van cannot: say which it is. Visitor traffic for Healey Dell on a sunny afternoon takes spaces you might have counted on.
See house removals for a full home and piano removals if an instrument is in the house. Nearby: Shawclough and Whitworth. Rochdale removals comes up from Swain Street.
Insurance is provided. If the track is steep or soft, we need to know before we choose the vehicle.
