Directions from Whitworth to our Rochdale base
Whitworth is a linear town in the valley north of Rochdale, in Rossendale rather than in the borough. Stone terraces and newer houses run along Market Street and the lanes off it, climbing towards the moor. Drives are short where they exist. The road from Swain Street is the A671 north, past Healey, and the last part is often the slow one when cars are parked both sides.
Because the town is in Lancashire, council tax, bins and school places do not go through Rochdale Borough Council. Tell us if the other address is still in Rochdale, because that is a cross-boundary move even though the miles are few. Hill streets and narrow back streets need the van size agreed before the day. A piano on an upper floor should be mentioned at booking.
See house removals for a full home and long distance removals if the other end is well beyond the valley. Nearby on this site: Healey and Shawclough. Rochdale removals starts at Swain Street and drives up to Whitworth.
Insurance is provided. We do not treat the town as if it had a depot of its own.
