Directions from Wardle to our Rochdale base
Wardle stands on the hill north-east of Rochdale, with stone houses and later homes along Birch Road and the lanes towards the reservoir. Drives are short, and some cottages have only a path. The road up from Swain Street goes through the east of town and Smallbridge, then climbs. That climb, and cars parked on Birch Road, matter more than the distance on a map.
Wardle Academy’s school run packs the main road. A piano or a large wardrobe on an upper floor in an older house should be in the booking, with a note if the stair turns. If the other address is Littleborough, it is a short hop over the hill, but the lanes are not a place for the wrong size of van.
See house removals for a full home and piano removals when an instrument is moving. Nearby: Littleborough and Smithy Bridge. Rochdale removals drives up from Swain Street.
Insurance is provided. Tell us if the lane is single track so we do not meet another vehicle on the bend.
