Directions from Balderstone to our Rochdale base
Balderstone sits south of the town centre, around Balderstone Road and the park, with Kirkholt rising behind it. Houses here are a mix of older rows and later semis, closer to a normal street than to the estate closes above. The park, the library and the pavilion are the landmarks. Swain Street is north, through the centre, so the drive is a cross-town run rather than a trip out to Heywood or the Pennines.
Platting Lane and the park car park look like an easy stop, and they are not. We need a gap on your own street. Tell us if the path to the door crosses a green, and if a sofa has to come out of a front room with a tight turn. If you are also clearing a shed, that is a different conversation from the move itself.
See house removals for a full home and furniture removals if you are moving the large pieces only. Nearby: Kirkholt and the town centre. Rochdale removals runs from Swain Street.
Insurance is provided. Name any item that will not fit through the front door on its own.

Can we use the library car park to load?
The council lists free parking by Balderstone Library for people using the park and library. It is not a loading bay for a house on another street.
Which postcode should I give?
