Heywood is a town in its own right on the west side of Rochdale borough, with OL10 on the doors. Terraces run off Manchester Road and Church Street, and semis and estate houses spread out towards Queen’s Park and Hopwood. A small office or shop move comes up here as often as a family house. We drive west from Swain Street through Castleton. There is no second branch in the town.
Queen’s Park Road is the side to flag if you are near the cricket ground at Crimble. Estate streets with cars on both sides need a measured stop, not a guess from the main road. Tell us the floor if the house has been split into flats, and whether a works van is already using the drive.
