Littleborough sits in the Pennine edge of the borough, with stone houses around Hare Hill Park, the station and the lanes out to Hollingworth Lake. Many homes are semis and detached houses with short drives. Others are terraces near the centre of the village, with cars already on both kerbs. Swain Street is back through Smithy Bridge, so we are coming out from Rochdale rather than from over the tops.
